General Work Agreement
The following is a list of agreements to be made on the part of the hiring party for the services of Steel-Track LLC. This agreement will apply to any work that does not have a signed Project Agreement. This agreement will usually apply to general work such as website revisions.
1. By asking Steel-Track LLC to perform work, the hiring party agrees to render full payment upon completion of the project. If full payment is not rendered within one week, a late fee of 10% of the total project cost will be assessed for each two weeks that payment is not made. After two months, Steel-Track LLC reserves the right to pursue legal actions to collect final payment.
2. While Steel-Track LLC will make every best effort to meet a quoted estimate (if provided) and abide by the agreed upon sitemap and deadlines, due to the nature of programming and design Steel-Track LLC makes no guarantees as to final project costs and completion dates.
3. Steel-Track LLC is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred by the work performed. It is the sole responsibility of the hiring party to ensure that all content and materials are legal and in proper use. This includes but is not limited to third party software, images, and other miscellaneous media.
5. Steel-Track LLC takes no responsibility for the success of the work. Any design or marketing advice given is the experienced opinion of Steel-Track LLC and should be assumed as such, an opinion. It is the responsibility of the hiring party to weigh any given advice or direction accordingly. All final decisions are the sole responsibility of the hiring party.
6. Final payment will be considered completion of work. Any adjustments, upgrades, or revisions to the work shall be considered new work unless due to a fault in workmanship. Faults in workmanship include missed cross-browser compatibility issues, or any other problem that limits the core usability of the website as defined by the agreed upon sitemap. Full Internet Explorer 6 compatibility and other outdated and non-mainstream browsers (under 5% usage according to W3C statistics) is at extra cost, and our policy on this and other browsers can be found at here.
